I'm about to add the advance purchase of Memory Maker. But I also read something on the Disney PhotoPass...can you clarify what the difference is & if I need that as well to get photos taken there?

    Hi Mary,

Thanks for visiting Disney Parks Moms Panel.

The only thing more fun than being in the moment and enjoying a Walt Disney World experience is enjoying the photos of those moments. I love looking back on Disney vacation photos, and I so appreciate all the talented PhotoPass Photographers who capture all the moments and memories.

Disney PhotoPass Service provides professional photographers stationed around Walt Disney World theme parks to take your picture and capture the magic of your moments. Whether it's a beauty shot of you standing in front of Cinderella Castle or pics of you interacting with your favorite Disney friends during a Character Experience, the PhotoPass Photographers capture the magic. Disney PhotoPass Service also provides attraction photos for select attractions, so you can see just how big a smile was on your face as you swooped and swayed and curved around Seven Dwarfs Mine Train.

Memory Maker is a Disney PhotoPass Product that packages unlimited digital downloads of your PhotoPass photos as well as other select photos. So one way to think if it is that Memory Maker is a convenient downloadable collection for all your PhotoPass photos.

So anytime you spot a PhotoPass Photographer, stop and smile. You'll love having the memories to share.

    Enjoy your Disney!

Meet the Panelist: Jerry, Pennsylvania

The playful and creative optimism of all things Disney has enthralled me since I was a kid. I loved watching "The Wonderful World of Disney" on Sunday nights, seeing all the live-action and animated classics in theaters, and — of course — visiting "The Most Magical Place on Earth" for the first time 45 years ago. These days, the big kid in me still loves to play Disney. As a long-time Disney destinations vacationer, I'm looking forward to helping you play Disney starting here at planDisney!
