After an Illuminations Speciality Cruise, is the only transportation option to return to a Disney resort Hotel a taxi service or will readmission to Epcot through the International Gateway be permitted to use Disney Bus Transport from the Park entrance?

Ahoy, Georgina! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

How exciting that you get to experience IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth through a Specialty Cruise! As I am not sure which Disney Resort hotel you are staying at, I will try to provide you with some general information about how to use Disney’s Complimentary Resort Transportation to get back home after your nautical adventure! As you mentioned, the fastest way is to take a car or taxi service back to your Disney Resort hotel. Alternatively, you can walk to Disney’s Hollywood Studios and catch a bus directly to your Disney Resort hotel from there. If you happen to be staying at one of the Monorail Disney Resort hotels, you can take a bus from Disney’s Yacht Club Resort to Magic Kingdom Park and then transfer to the Resort Monorail. You can also consult your Lobby Concierge with guidance as to how to proceed after your cruise.

If you haven’t already done so, you can make your Specialty Cruise Reservations by calling (407) 939-7529 up to 180 days before you plan to set sail!

I hope this helps you with your planning and that you truly have the BEST vacation ever! Come back to see us for all your planning needs! We just love to help Guests like yourself make magical memories!
