Hi! I'll be at WDW from nov. 14 to nov. 21 2014. Can u tell me if christmas decorations will be up in the resorts and which resorts are must see? Thanks!

    Hi Andreanne:

Although subject to change every year, Disney typically starts putting up Christmas decorations and merchandise around the first week of November. By United States Thanksgiving, expect to see the parks fully decorated for the Holidays. In true Disney fashion, the decorations are generally set up at night, as if by magic. I can't guarantee that Holiday decorations, merchandise, and music this coming year will be up during your visit, but based on your dates, you are likely to notice more and more Christmas and Holiday decorations every day where you did not see them the day before.

The grandest Holiday decorations generally are put in place in the deluxe Resorts, including the monorail loop resorts of Grand Floridian Resort, Contemporary Resort, and Polynesian Village Resort.  Feel free to visit other Resorts to view the decorations and enjoy some shopping.  We also take tours of the unique gingerbread houses featured at a number of the hotels and restaurants around Disney World, including a breathtaking life-sized gingerbread house at the Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.  The giant gingerbread house at the Grand Floridian Resort and Spa has had an opening in mid-November during years past, so hopefully the gingerbread houses will be up during your visit.

    Enjoy your vacation.
