I'll be going to WDW with my 3 yo daughter and a friend in August 2011. I'm wondering if we're going to need to pack bug spray, or if the parks are fairly pest free. Thanks for the advice!

Hi, Heidi! Aside from times when I'm around, the parks are virtually pest free. Disney World's pest management program is one of the best I've seen.

Mosquitos and bees are my pet peeves and I've never had to take a defensive strategy to them while inside the parks. If you're at a more woodsy resort, such as Fort Wilderness, you'll want some bug spray then.

Otherwise, we bring the sunscreen with us but we leave the bugs spray at home. I hope you'll feel the same!
