Hello! I'll be in WDW with my best friends in October during Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween, but I'm not sure whether we should get tickets or not. Is it aimed at adults, too? Or should we splurge on a more grown-up dining event or show instead? Thanks!

    Hi Heather,

Thanks for visiting us with your question. I can only give you my opinion but it's a quick and absolute, yes! Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is for kids and adults of all ages. In fact, it's one of my favorite Special Events all year.

You may choose to dress in costume (or not), meet Disney Characters dressed up for Halloween, enjoy the fantastic Mickey's "Boo-to-You" Halloween Parade, and what I consider to be the best fireworks show all year, Happy HalloWishes.

The party is such a different atmosphere than a typical day in the parks. I love spending time at Magic Kingdom park after dark anyway so for me it's a no-brainer. Plus, it's just really fun to see everyone out and enjoying the holiday. If you've never been, I recommend going at least once!

If you are looking for a more adult atmosphere, I suggest at least making a dinner reservation at a nearby Resort hotel restaurant like California Grill or Narcoossee's so you can still enjoy the fireworks show. It really is a must-see.

Wishing you a fantastic trip with your friends, Heather. Happy haunting!
