    Hi! I'll be visiting this winter with my kids. Will my teenagers be allowed to buy things with their magic bands? What is the age limit? Thanks for your help!

    Your winter Walt Disney World vacation will be here before you know it. I bet you are really looking forward to all the trip has to offer. The winter and fall are actually my favorite time to visit the parks. 

    Your MagicBand question is a great one! As the mother of three, I know my kids could spend to their little hearts content if we let them. There are so many fun souvenirs, but being that my children are younger than teenagers, I do not quite feel comfortable giving them free reign of their spending. So, on our trips we have specified that they not have charging privileges. However, if you would like your teenagers to be able to charge to their MagicBands, and thus to the credit card on file with your reservation, you absolutely can. There really is no age limit or minimum. It is just a matter of whether you opt to allow it or not on the MagicBand. You can do this at the front desk upon check in or there is usually an option when customizing your MagicBands prior to your trip.
