Hi there, Michelle! Welcome back to planDisney. It's great to see you here again!
You are counting down the DAYS to your visit to the Walt Disney World Resort. You are going to have the most merry and magical time! I love that you are trying to ensure you experience the magical Florida snowfall that only happens during the holiday season at Disney World. As a Canadian, I have seen more than enough snow in my lifetime, but I never get tired of Disney snow!
I'm delighted to confirm that you should be able to have "snow much fun" experiencing a magical snowfall during your visit. At Magic Kingdom Park, it looks like Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade is scheduled during your visit; consult the
Park Hours for the most up-to-date times. Usually, magical snow falls during this parade! Be sure to keep an eye out for my very favorite Disney characters, Santa's Reindeer, during the parade. Their dancing is the cutest thing!
You also won't want to miss the
EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays! There are festive food booths, holiday storytellers, and enchanting entertainment options. While I'm not sure if magical snow will fall, it's absolutely worth a visit for holiday cheer.
Snow also falls during the evening hours at Disney Springs during the holidays. It's not scheduled, so if you're visiting during the evening, be ready for a snowy surprise. I also highly recommend the Christmas Tree Stroll at Disney Springs, featuring stunningly-decorated trees themed to Disney movies and icons. Check out the
Holidays at Disney Springs webpage to help with your planning, and be sure to read the
Disney Parks Blog for all the latest news.
Michelle, I hope you have so much festive fun during your
holiday visit to Walt Disney World. Let it snow!
Wishing you much magic,
Robyn
