Hello! I'll be visiting WDW im September and will be staying on property. When is the earliest I can start making Lighting Lane pass reservations?

    Welcome to planDisney, Damien!

September in Walt Disney World is a magical time, and lining up your Lightning Lane passes will make your visit even better!

Damien, guests of Disney Resort hotels and other select hotels are able to make those Lightning Lane purchases starting at 7:00 AM Eastern Time 7 days in advance of arrival. You'll be able to book all of your LL passes at that time; this includes both Lightning Lane Multi Pass as well as Lightning Lane Single Pass. Other guests may purchase LL 3 days before the first day of their ticket.

When planning our Lightning Lanes, I like to map out our touring schedule then aim to stack those 3 passes with whichever Single Lightning Lanes are available in that same park. You'll also have access to Early Theme Park Entry for Disney Resort Hotel Guests, so consider taking advantage of those extra 30 morning minutes and head directly to one of the most popular rides.

For a day at Disney's Hollywood Studios, I'll book my family's 3 LL for Toy Story Mania! (get those first as they go quickly!), The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, and Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run, then I'll add the Single Lightning Lane pass for Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance. We'll arrive at DHS early enough to be among the first guests to enter during that early theme park entry, then head directly to Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets. That's five rides in the plan already--so much fun at the start of the day!

I like to overlap my arrival windows, too, so we are packing in as many pixie-dusted experiences as possible throughout the day. As other guests adjust their LL return times, we often find new times that better fit our plans, so keep an eye on that My Disney Experience app as you tour.

Damien, wishing you an absolutely magical visit. As you continue to make those travel plans, be sure to send additional questions our way. We love to help!
