Hi there! I’ll be visiting Disneyland and DCA beginning of March and I’m wondering what World of Colour show would be scheduled? Thank you for your help!

    Hi Emily,

Thanks for visiting planDisney! So excited to hear about your upcoming trip! World of Color is my favorite nighttime show. No matter which version of World of Color you see, I am sure it will be spectacular.

Currently, World of Color - ONE is playing at California Adventure. World of Color - ONE features moments from Lion King, Moana, Star Wars, and my favorite, The Avengers. Every time The Avengers section starts, I get goosebumps. I checked the Hours & Events Calendar to see what Nighttime Entertainment will be available as far out as February 24, 2025 and World of Color- ONE is still scheduled. The entertainment schedule is typically released six weeks in advance, so I recommend checking back around  mid-February to see if a World of Color show is scheduled during your trip.

If this is your first time seeing World of Color, let me give you some tips on getting the best view. Currently, the closest viewing area for show is roped-off in Paradise Garden Park. To access this area, you will need to join a virtual queue through the Disneyland mobile app. As of today, if you have a reservation for California Adventure or a Park Hopper ticket, you can try to join the virtual at 12:00 PM. Later in the evening, you will be able to enter the viewing area through either the Blue of Yellow entrance points (indicated on your app). Keep in mind that you will most likely get a bit wet from all the mist, so I recommend bringing a jacket.

Sometimes the queue reaches capacity, but that does not mean that you can not watch this amazing show. My favorite walk up spot is right in front of The Little Mermaid ride. I like this spot because I can still see the projections, and I don’t get wet. These spot are first come first serve and walk up areas are subject to change, so talk to a Cast Member if you are unsure of where to go.

If you were hoping to see the new “World of Color Happiness!” that celebrates Disneyland's 70th anniversary, that should be coming out sometime in May. Hopefully we can get an exact date soon. I hope this information is helpful, Emily. Please feel free to write back to me or my fellow panelist if you have any more questions

    Wishing you a magical trip!
