I'll visit Disneyworld parks from Jan 19 to 22, one day per park. Which day would you recommend for each park to avoid MLK crowds and Epcot festival multitudes and taking into account that there's a high probability of rain for the first few days?

Hi there, Laura, and welcome back to planDisney! I am so happy you're here with this great question about your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation. You'll be arriving in just a few short days, and I know you're getting so excited!

Laura, now is the perfect time to solidify your plans for visiting the Disney Theme Parks next week. Once you have your itinerary planned out, you might even want to make a few dining reservations! I am so glad that Prince was able to give you a great itinerary, and I absolutely agree with his advice about which parks to visit to avoid crowds for the holiday: Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom, Magic Kingdom, and then EPCOT. If there's rain in the forecast, bring a poncho and a rain jacket. If the rain is very heavy, putting the poncho on top of the rain jacket will help to keep you dry. On rainy days at the parks, I like to wear shorts and sturdy sandals that can get wet and will dry quickly, rather than pants with sneakers and socks that will get wet and stay wet. One of the best things about rain is that it does end up deterring some Guests, so you might find that the parks will be less crowded! I'd love to share with you some of my favorite rainy-day experiences at the parks!

At Hollywood Studios, be sure to go to For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration. This stage show is indoors and you'll be seated in a theatre while you're entertained by some of the most talented and hilarious performers. You'll laugh, you'll sing - it's just perfect!

Animal Kingdom is home to Festival of the Lion King, an interactive performance of your favorite songs and scenes from The Lion King. This show is also indoors!

Walt Disney's Carousel of Progress is located at Magic Kingdom. You'll get to watch as a family experiences four different decades. Be sure to sing along when you hear, "There's a great, big, beautiful tomorrow..."

EPCOT is home to many amazing indoor experiences. Impressions de France is my all-time favorite - it's a movie-style attraction inside a comfortable theater. Soarin' Around the World and Living with the Land are two rides located in the Land Pavilion, so be sure not to miss them!

Laura, I hope this helps you feel equipped and empowered to take on holiday crowds, festival fun, and wet weather during your vacation. Please stop back by planDisney with any other questions you have as you continue to count down to your arrival!

    See you real soon!
