    I'll be using the navigator's app.Can I communicate with a wave phone by text?

    Welcome Aboard, Michael!

    On my last cruise, I was able to enjoy the new Disney Cruise Line Navigator App. The new, free app for Apple and Android phones is an electronic version of the Personal Navigator daily schedule you receive in your stateroom each day of your sailing. With a tap of your smartphone, you're able to see all the activities going on around the ship, including Character Greetings, Dining, Youth Activities and more! You can also save your favorites to a list and get notifications so you won't miss any "must-do" activities.

    Recently the mobile app premiered messaging capabilities so you can stay in touch with your sailing party onboard. While this feature is very convenient, it only works from smartphone to smartphone, and you will not be able to send messages to the Wave Phones from the app.
