I’ll be using an ECV. Should I still get a DAS card as when walking I use a cane and if I have to wait in line I can’t stand for a lengthy time. This would be if I have topark the ECV and need to walk thru the waiting line.

Hello, Mary! Thanks for returning to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with another great question!

The Disneyland Resort does an excellent job of ensuring that all Guests, including those with mobility difficulties, have a magical experience while at the parks. If you cannot wait in a typical line, then it sounds like Disability Access Service might be a fitting option to help you enjoy your trip to the fullest. Simply stop by Guest Relations when you arrive in either park and discuss your situation with a Cast Member. They will apprise you of the different accommodations available and provide Disability Access Service if deemed appropriate.

Another service that you should plan to use is Disney FASTPASS Service. This is included with your theme park admission and provides you with a return time to ride certain attractions with little to no wait. You will visit a FASTPASS distribution kiosk, insert your theme park ticket, and a return time reminder ticket will be distributed. When it's time to ride, simply scan your theme park ticket and head on in to the attraction. You could save yourself even more time and effort by upgrading to the Disney MaxPass option which allows you to make FASTPASS selections from anywhere in the parks using the Disneyland app. I continue to be astonished by how little I wait in line when using Disney MaxPass.

I hope this helps. Have a magnificent time at the Happiest Place on Earth!
