I'll be travelling to WDW for Christmas with an 10yrs, 6 yrs and a 8 months old baby. I'm wondering what kind of clothes I should bring and if baby food will be available on site for my 8 months old. we are flying in from Canada.

Hi Cynthia! I am sure you are getting so excited about your holiday vacation at Walt Disney World. The parks are transformed into magical wonderlands and it is a must visit for me every year.

This is the time of year where it is impossible to know exactly what the weather is going to be like. I just left the parks yesterday and during the past week the temperatures went from fairly cold with lows in the high 30's to warm days in the mid 80's. Your best bet for bringing clothes is to bring things that you can layer each day.  Mornings and evenings will be the coolest so wraps are a must but if you do have high temperatures then shorts will work during the day. I have always found jeans to be a good item in my suitcase too as you can wear lighter weight tops if needed. I know it is hard to understand that you could be enjoying 70's and 80's when coming from Canada! Try to check a long range weather report for Orlando a few days before you depart. The Weather Channel is a good source and weather.com as well.

Each park has a baby center where you can purchase a variety of baby foods and formulas and equipment. The resort shops will also have a few items for sale but you might not always find what you need.  In the past we have shipped what we thought we might need as far as baby gear and food directly to the resort ahead of our arrival. You can address a box to the name the reservation is held in and then put your arrival date with the resort address following. You can find each resort address on the website, www.disneyworld.com. If you need more help with how to do this please let us know. I strongly suggest shipping since you can be sure to have exactly what your infant is used to eating and likes.
