I'll be travelling in October from the UK with a 3 month old. Will I be able to easily get boiling water in he parks to make bottles?

    Hi Samantha!

Welcome to planDisney!  I'm so thrilled to hear you're planning to visit The Most Magical Place on Earth with a precious little one this fall!  I took my middle son on his first visit at just five months old and have so many cherished memories from that trip.  I'm sure you will make many as well!

Samantha, you'll be happy to know that each of the four theme parks has a Baby Care Center available.  In these handy little areas, you'll find bottle warmers as well as a quiet space for feeding.  There are also spaces for nursing and pumping as well as changing tables.  The Cast Members in the Baby Care Centers are wonderfully supportive and do an excellent job of making sure everything is neat and clean for the families using the space.  You'll also find a small assortment of baby products for sale including essentials like diapers and wipes.  I've also found the staff at Table-Service restaurants able to provide a cup of hot water when I wanted to warm a bottle while we were dining.  If you're having any difficulty finding anything for your baby during your visit, stop by one of the Baby Care Centers for help!

Did you know that there are many "Any Height" attractions at Walt Disney World Resort that your little Mouseketeer will get to enjoy with the whole family?  Some of my favorite rides with an infant can be found at Magic Kingdom Park and include "it's a small world," Under the Sea - Journey of the Little Mermaid, and Dumbo the Flying Elephant.  When it comes time for the adults in your party to enjoy more thrilling rides, be sure to use Rider Switch so that no one misses out on a must-do attraction!

There are a few more tips I'd like to share before I go.  While we used a stroller during our time in the parks, I also liked having a wrap to baby-wear him while waiting in lines and even found that I was able to use it on several rides.  If you don't want to travel with your stroller, you'll find stroller rentals by the day or for the length of your stay.  You can also request a Pack 'n Play or crib for your Disney Resorts Collection hotel room to give your little one the comfort of home while you're away.  If you haven't yet decided on a resort, I recommend checking out Disney's Contemporary Resort.  It has been my favorite when traveling with infants and toddlers as you can easily walk to Magic Kingdom Park and use the monorail to travel to EPCOT.

Samantha, I hope all of this helps as you start planning your vacation!  You've got a friend in planDisney and we'd love to assist again if you have any other questions!

    Cheers,
    Kristi
