Hi! I’ll be traveling in January with another family! I qualify for DAS Pass, are they able to ride the rides with us using the DAS pass? They’re linked to me in MDE. Thanks!!!

Hi, Jennifer!  Welcome back to planDisney!

As the mom of a child with special needs, I really appreciate the way that Walt Disney World Resort goes above and beyond to make the magic accessible to everyone.  When I visit the Walt Disney World theme parks with my son who is on the autism spectrum, we use Disability Access Service (DAS).

DAS is an accommodation intended for Guests who, due to a disability, cannot wait in a typical queue environment.  Guests who register for DAS may use their My Disney Experience mobile app to request a return time for an attraction that they would like to experience.  The return time will be based on that attraction's current standby wait.  Any time after the given return time, the Guest may come back and access the attraction without waiting in the standby queue.

When a Guest registers for DAS, the other members of their party will be added to their DAS account so that they may experience attractions together.  To redeem a DAS return time, the Guest who is registered for DAS must be experiencing the attraction with the rest of the group.  Currently, the maximum number of Guests that may be included on one DAS pass is six.  In other words, the Guest who requires the DAS accommodation may have up to five additional Guests on their pass.

If you have any additional questions about your group's specific situation, feel free to reach out to a Disability Services Cast Member, and if you have any other planning questions, my fellow panelists and I are all ears.  Wishing you a magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
