I'll be traveling in December with a 3 year old and a 5 month old and debating between the Polynesian, the Garden Wing at the Contemporary or the Wilderness Lodge. Would love feedback on location, rooms, convenience to MK, & food btwn these 3 hotels

Hi Erica! Wow, all three resorts have great options and it is hard to make final choices.

The Contemporary resort Garden Wing would be my third choice as these rooms are completely separate from the main building where you will find all dining, transportation, and lobby. If weather is bad this is not fun. Plus you hear the boat horns early in the morning since you are right on the water. The food options include a noisy food court and a just ok dining room called the Wave. California Grill is more for adult dining.
This resort is on the monorail or you can walk to the park.

The Polynesian resort is also on the monorail or you can take a small boat to the park. The rooms are fine and many guests love the tropical feel of the resort. The food options are just ok in my eyes with a food court and then Kona Cafe which is awesome for breakfast. O'Hanas is a dinner spot but hard to get into and a place I like to go only every few years.

The Wilderness Lodge in my book has the best dining options. They have a food court as well but then two great dining rooms, Whispering Canyon and Artist Point. The rooms are comfortable and have views over the pool or lake which are best. To reach the Magic Kingdom your best option is to take the boat right at the dock. Takes about 5-8 minutes to reach the park and drops you off IMMEDIATELY in front of the entrance. Very easy and convenient and probably my choice of the three.
