I'll be at the Studios on Dec 8th and was planning to watch Jingle Bell, Jingle Bam at 6:45pm. Is there a chance to catch Fantasmic at 7pm too? Will they let us in the theater after the show has started? We wouldn't mind missing the beginning...

    Hi Barbara!

I was fortunate enough to see Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM! earlier this week and it is a really fun holiday show that my entire family really enjoyed! Since Fantasmic! is one of my favorite nighttime experiences at Walt Disney World Resort, I completely understand how difficult is is to choose between these two nighttime shows at Disney's Hollywood Studios. If you want to try to experience both shows, I recommend that you stand on Sunset Boulevard to view Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM! so you can quickly head to the Fantasmic! theater. However, a large part of Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM! are the projections on The Great Movie Ride building and due to trees and buildings on Hollywood Boulevard, your view of the show may be obstructed. For Fantasmic!, I usually recommend arriving at least 30 minutes prior to showtime to get the best seats. The theater often fills to capacity and since Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM! lasts approximately 15 minutes, you will not be able to get optimum seats for Fantasmic!, if you are allowed entry into the theater at all.

For the best experience, I recommend that you prioritize the show that you most want to see and arrange for the best seats you can for that show. For Fantasmic!, I recommend that you arrive 30-45 minutes in advance of the show so you can get the best seats available. For Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM!, you will want to be in the Center Stage area in front of The Great Movie Ride, just to the left of the end of Hollywood Boulevard. This will allow you to see the projection show and the large fireworks in your same line of sight. Be sure to find a spot early so you can get a spot with an unobstructed view of The Great Movie Ride to fully experience this amazing new show!

    T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
