I'll be staying at the Villas at Wilderness Lodge with my husband, daughter, son-in-law and two grandchildren, ages 4 and 2. Would you recommend any specific room location, ground floor, top floor, etc.?

I have stayed at the Wilderness Lodge Villas several times. The rooms are all great and the hotel is in really nice shape. As far as room location goes, it's really up to your personal preference. Some people  ask to be close to the elevator because they don't like to walk to a far away room. Others prefer to be away from the elevators because it is more quiet. The same thing with a view of the pool. Some love this, others fear it will be noisy. Many of the ground floor rooms have a sliding door opening onto a small outdoor seating area. Some people love this. I personally don't like the feeling of a sliding glass door to a hotel room.

You have to think about what your own priorities and preferences are and go from there. I'd say that you really can't go wrong at the WL Villas.
