Hello, I'll be staying at the All stars movie resorts and I was wondering if the shuttle buses go from 45 minutes before the park open (for example 9am) or 45 minutes before early entry starts. Does anyone know? Thank you1

Hey Howdy Hey Lucy and welcome to planDisney!

Thank you for stopping by with your question about the Resort Transportation start time. I always advocate for taking advantage of the many forms of transportation that are complimentary when staying at the Walt Disney World Resort. Let us review the operating hours so you can better prepare for your upcoming holiday.

Resort Transportation, such as buses, boats, Walt Disney World Monorail and Disney Skyliner, are all available for complimentary transportation to almost anywhere on the property. Operations begin starting 45 minutes before the parks open. This applies to Early Theme Park Entry as well. For example, if the official opening time is 9 AM, Early Theme Park Entry starts at 8:30 AM so transportation will begin around 7:45 AM. Transportation typically wraps up for the night about 1 hour after the parks close. Keep an eye on the Park Calander for the most up-to-date park hours.

While most people will use the Resort Transportation to get to and from their resort to the parks, feel free to take the transportation to other resorts! This can be a fun way to spend a day or afternoon on days off from the parks. You can feel free to hop on a bus to Magic Kingdom and then take a ride on the Monorail to all of the Magic Kingdom resorts to look around, do some shopping and maybe some dining. You can also take a bus to EPCOT and then take the Skyliner to any of the area resorts.

One of my favorite things to do involves Disney's Polynesian Village Resort and the monorail. The beaches of the Polynesian are not just for Guests staying at this resort. You can feel free to pull up a chair or some beach and just hang out for the evening. This beach has prime seating for the fireworks in Magic Kingdom, so you can experience them from outside of the parks. During the fireworks, the music will be piped in and is one of the best places to view the fireworks outside of the parks. Grabbing a Dole Whip from Pineapple Lanai and enjoy the show! Feel free to stick around for the Electrical Water Pageant directly following the fireworks. It is a super nice and relaxing way to experience the Magic of Disney from the resorts.

I hope this information is helpful so you can better plan for your upcoming trip. If you have any further questions, please feel free to reach out and let us know, we are always happy to help!

    Have a Magical day,
