Hi! I’ll be staying at pop century in September. I was wondering if the preffered rooms in the 60’s section are already renovated? Thanks

    Hi Cathleen!

You're so close to your Walt Disney World Resort vacation being double-digits away! Are you getting oh so excited???

I have it on good authority that as of today, the guest rooms at Disney's Pop Century Resort are 90's percent done. (See what I did there?) Renovations started last summer in the higher numbered buildings and have worked their way to the earlier decades. I also heard that the preferred rooms in the POPular 60's buildings will be the last ones to receive their refresh. All room renovations are supposed to be completed by this summer, so everything should be bright, shiny and new for your vacation this September.

Did you know that you'll be able to walk to Disney's Art of Animation Resort from Disney's Pop Century? There is a walking path at the end of the 60's buildings that will take you over the Generation Gap bridge and straight to your neighbor hotel. You and your family are more than welcome to explore their art and memorabilia, take pictures with their larger than life statues, and even dine in their Quick-Service restaurant, Landscape of Flavors. Don't forget your Dining Plan Refill Mug as it will work over there too. You'll also be able to see work on the all-new Disney Skyliner project, which will be Disney's newest transportation option meant to get future guests between select Disney Resort Hotels and Disney's theme parks.

Thanks for POPping by, and We'll See You in September, Cathleen!
