Hi! I'll be staying at POFQ 9/8-9/15 and would like to get a gift for our neighbors/housesitters. They are expecting twin girls and they are very outdoorsy/adventurous/love camping. Any suggestions for two baby girls with a camping-themed room?

    Hi Ashley,

I also like to pick up a little something for my friends who take care of my house and watch our dog when we travel. Making the gift thematic is even better!

I love Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter. It is beautiful and themed impeccably to New Orleans. You will find that at the Walt Disney World resort hotels, merchandise locations tend to carry items that work for overall Walt Disney World, but also for the theme of the specific resort. Jackson Square Gifts & Desires, located at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter, will have great merchandise, but likely not camping-related.

I think that your best bet for camping-related Walt Disney World souvenirs is to head to Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. There, you can try the Settlement Trading Post or Meadow Trading Post to see if they have something that works. Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort is a large resort and has an internal bus system, so be prepared to spend a bit of time there if you go this route. There are loads of recreation and dining options at this resort, so perhaps planning to spend some time exploring these is a good idea! Another option would be to head to Disney's Wilderness Lodge and check out the Wilderness Lodge Mercantile. Again thematically, you will likely find some outdoors-y merchandise there.

Please let us know if you have any further questions, Ashley!
