I'll be staying at the Caribbean Resort with 11 family members ranging in age from 5 to 70. I'd like to plan something fun, but not crowd crazy for New Year's Eve. If we book dinner at O'hana would we be allowed to view the fireworks from that beach?

    Hello Jenna,

Celebrating with your family at "The Most Magical Place on Earth" is a wonderful way to ring in the New Year! I'm sure you will make some very special memories!

Dining at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort is a great idea for your New Year's Eve celebration. It's a very busy time of year at the Walt Disney World Resort and with a party of your size you may have difficulty booking a Dining Reservation at 'Ohana so I suggest trying to make your Advance Dining Reservation the minute the 180 day window for Reservations opens up. You may make Advanced Dining Reservations 180 days in advance of the first day of your Walt Disney World Resort stay by calling (407)939-3463 or through My Disney Experience online or mobile app. Kona Cafe, also located in Disney's Polynesian Resort, is a very good option too. The menu is fantastic and, in my experience, I have found it easier to secure a Dining Reservation there. You are welcome to walk out on the beach and view the spectacular New Year's Eve fireworks show from there. Keep in mind that it may still be a bit crowded so I would try to secure your preferred viewing spot as far ahead of the show as you can.
