I'll be staying at the All-Star resort. I have reservations at 8:10am at Chef Mickey's. I've read that I just need to take the bus to MK and walk over, but it says that buses start an hour before MK opens, which is 9am. Suggestions?

    Hi Shawn,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question!

I have some good news for you! Although bus service to Walt Disney World Resort’s Theme Parks begins an hour before their scheduled opening, there are usually “breakfast buses” that start running even earlier, especially for Guests with early dining reservations.

My recommendation would be to ask the Concierge at Disney’s All-Star Resort about what the schedule will be the day before your dining reservation and what your transportation options are for heading to Disney’s Contemporary Resort for your dining reservation at Chef Mickey’s. While you can definitely walk there from Magic Kingdom Park (it’s about a 10 minute walk), your Resort's Lobby Concierge may give you additional options to get directly to the Contemporary.

Because you may need up to an hour of travel time to get to your reservation, I would also recommend taking an Uber, taxi or even a Minnie Van to your reservation. Although these transportation options aren’t complimentary, they likely represent a quicker route to breakfast… which means a couple of extra minutes of sleep!

Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions!

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
