I'll be staying at AKL 9/10 - 9/15. We received the 40% off discount for our hotel, but now I'm thinking: Would it be worth it to upgrade to Concierge Level at AKL? Thanks! Love this panel!

Hi Paula!  I am one who loves the concierge services in the Disney resorts but it doesn't work for everyone.  If you are planning to be on a dining plan then I do not suggest spending the extra money for the club levels.  The benefit of this extra cost level is the food service throughout the day.  Although the food served in the special lounge is not offered to take the place of dining while at Disney it can be too much if you combine it with one of the dining plans.

If you are not planning on being at the resort or in your room much then I don't suggest the club levels either.  If you are a family that rushes off early in the morning and returns late in the evening then this isn't for you.  It works best when you can enjoy a nice breakfast, return in the afternoon to enjoy the pre dinner treats, and then again before 10pm at night for a late night sweet.

Beyond the food and drink service the benefits do include the added help with reservations, airline check-in, and special experiences just for Animal Kingdom concierge guests such as the private safari ride. Before upgrading think about what you will want your vacation days to be like and then decide if this benefit will fit into your plans.
