I'll be sailing on the Fantasy in a few weeks. To get access to the Rainforest room, do I need to call ahead to reserve it, or wait until I'm on board?

Ahoy there, Michael, thanks for dropping by planDisney ahead of your upcoming cruise on the Disney Fantasy...in just a few weeks, too! I've had the pleasure of sailing on that ship a few times, and from the amazing dining options, to the incredible entertainment and everything in-between, it never fails to deliver an incredible vacation!

AND it looks like you'll be sailing with a Star Wars Day at Sea, too - consider me officially jealous!

Ah, the Rainforest Room at Senses Spa and Salon - one of my favorite experiences on the ships, especially after a few days of enjoying what's included on a Disney Cruise! I know most Guests enjoy the heated lounge chairs the best, but there's something about the aromatherapy showers (even the extra cold one) that relaxes me more than anything. I guess that could be the sunburn talking though...one of these days I'll remember to re-apply sunscreen...

Reservations for the Rainforest Room can be made once you board the Fantasy by stopping by Senses Spa and Salon on Deck 11, Forward. It's a popular activity, so I'd suggest doing it first thing after you embark, even before grabbing lunch at Cabanas!

If you weren't aware, the Rainforest Room can currently only be reserved for blocks of 1 hour and 45 minutes by parties of up to 10 adults. While this is a bit of a change from the day passes that were offered previously, just think: once you have it reserved for your party, there's no need to play a Jedi mind trick or use the Force on anyone to free up space at one of those coveted loungers! Plus, I have it on good authority that it will be the last place anyone from the First Order or Empire will think to look for you if you reserve it during your Star Wars Day at Sea!

Oh, and if you do make a reservation, know that the Senses Spa and Salon locker rooms are currently unavailable, so you and your party should plan on arriving to the Rainforest Room wearing your swimsuits or other appropriate attire! Be sure to review the latest "Know Before You Go" information, paying particular attention to the "On the Ship" section for the most up-to-date details.

Thanks again, Michael, for dropping us a line here at planDisney! I hope you and your crew have an amazing time on the Fantasy! And if you find yourself cornered by Stormtroopers, just remember, they couldn't hit the broad side of a bantha.

I wish you smooth sailing, and May the Force be With You
