    I'll be running my first half marathon at Disneyland. Is the pasta in the park worth going to? Also are there characters along the race route. I'm so excited.

    Hi Stephanie!  Congratulations on your upcoming half marathon!  I am predicting that you will be hooked on them! 
    The pasta in the park party is great.  You get a buffet of great pre-race foods: pasta, bread, salad, dessert.  It is also a great place to meet other runners and make new friends!  There is usually a DJ playing some upbeat tunes that often inspires some random dancing throughout the room.  You can also get some pictures with a few Disney characters that show up at the party!
    You're going to have to eat dinner that night, so you may as well do it runDisney style!!  Good luck with your training, and I will see you there!
