I'll be running the 2012 Disney Wine & Dine 1/2 Marathon (2nd time), but this time for my aunt who was diagnosed with Cancer. Last year the End party was HECTIC. Is there a special area for participants' family members to watch the race if in a wheelc

Hi Keri!  That is such a wonderful thing you are doing for your aunt.  I am always very moved by the runners who are running in honor of someone or in memory of someone.
I am sorry it took so long to respond, but I had to call the runDisney offices to get the answer to this question.  Last year, they did have a special area for wheelchair guests.  They couldn't confirm that they will again this year, but my suggestion would be to find a runDisney team member at the race and inquire about a wheelchair area when you get there.
Another option is for your aunt to become a part of the chEAR squad.  Some of the packages include priority seating at the castle and also at the finish line.  Information about chEAR squad options for the Wine and Dine will be posted on the runDisney website (on the Wine and Dine page, under spectator resources) closer to the Wine and Dine race date.  The link I provided gives you the details about the chEAR squad for the Princess half marathon that will be in February.
Please let me know if I can help you plan in any other way!
