I’ll be going to the parks the 2nd week of November before the holiday decorations will be put up. I saw that Disneyland Forever fireworks will be discontinued before then. Will there still be fireworks while I’m at the parks?

    Hello Keiko!

Welcome to planDisney! We're so glad that you found us hEAR. Thank you for sending your Disneyland Resort vacation planning question our way!

Oh boy! Your November visit to Mickey's house is so soon! Don't forget that Guests now need to make Park Pass Reservations in addition to purchasing Theme Park Admission Tickets. Park Pass Reservations can be made up to 140 days in advance, so you still have some time! Another Disney date to be aware of is that Dining Reservations can be made starting 60 days in advance. Pro tip: the more popular locations and dining times fill up first-thing on that first day, so if you have a special meal in mind be sure to book it first.

This answer is kind of hard to predict right now as the Entertainment Calendar only goes 30 days out, and last yEAR we still had a lot of pandemic precautions in place. In the last "normal" yEAR we have to draw from, which was 2019, the few weeks between Halloween Time and the Holidays did have some entertainment options, like Fantasmic! and World of Color, although both were usually performed only once per night, not twice like the current summer schedule shows. In the off seasons, Firework shows are reserved only for the weekends; however, there is usually a really fun dance and projection party aimed at the castle mid-week that does a fantastic job of filling the firework void. So while I don't think that you'll be without nighttime spectacular entertainment, I'm just not 100% sure of what it will be at this time. (And while that was a very long non-answer, how about this - don't count yourself out of being able to see some Holiday decorations while you're at Mickey's house. The halls and walls may not be fully decked, but you'll have enough for some great photos.)

I hope that this helped to better plan your upcoming Disney days, Keiko! You're more than welcome to reach back out to us as your vacation draws nEAR, if you'd like.
