I'll be in Orlando for business next month and wanted to take the monorail to one of the hotels to pick up some goodies and have a character meal. Do I need a WDW ticket to ride the monorail?

    Hello Jennifer!

Thanks for bringing this great question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I can think of no better way to improve a business trip to Orlando than to top it off with one of the fantastic Character Dining experiences at the Walt Disney World Resort! There are many choices on the Monorail line, and I have great news: no ticket or fee is required to ride the "highway in the sky"- the Monorail.

Whether you choose to meet the "Big Cheese" at Chef Mickey's at Disney Contemporary Resort or Stitch at 'Ohana at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort or dine with royalty at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, you can park for free at the resort where you have your reservation. Each of these resorts has access to the Monorail.  I recommend stopping at each resort on the route so you can explore the great themes.

    See ya real soon,
    Anne
