Hello, hello there, my good friend Danny! I'm so happy to see that you've decided to stop by my very own corner of
planDisney with your question. Let's get started, shall we?
Before we officially begin, I have to say that your magical vacation sounds absolutely delightful. In fact, I might just join you... ha! But in all seriousness, I truly think that you're going to have an amazing time. After all, any day spent at the Walt Disney World Resort is––as Rapunzel would say––the best day ever!
Danny, let me explain just how the
Extended Evening Hours work in order for you to take full advantage of them during your vacation. Basically, the way this works is that all Guests staying at Disney Deluxe Resorts and Disney Deluxe Villa Resorts (including Disney's Old Key West Resort) will be able to enjoy extra hours at select Theme Parks after they have officially closed for the night. At this time, Extended Evening Hours are only available at Magic Kingdom Park and EPCOT, but this could very well change in the near future. If I were you, I would keep my eyes and EARS peeled for more news! It's important to note that you'll be able to check what the planned Extended Evening Hours are about two months in advance. Since you'll be arriving in late October, I would suggest checking the website in late August!
Now, since you are an Annual Passholder, you will be able to experience all the magic that the Extended Evening Hours have to offer without having to worry about making specific Theme Park reservations! Danny, I'm happy to report that your
Park Hopping benefits let you make Theme Park reservations for any of the four Theme Parks and then hop on over to a different one after 2 p.m. This essentially means that you can spend your mornings and afternoons at the Theme Parks of your choice and then head to whichever one is offering Extended Evening Hours that night. Cool, right?
Last but definitely not least, allow me to clarify just how the new
Extended Evening Hours Virtual Queue for
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind works. It's actually pretty simple: all you need to do is request to join the Virtual Queue through the My Disney Experience mobile app at 6:00 p.m. just like you would at 7:00 a.m. or 1:00 p.m., and that's about it! The best part about this is that you don't even have to be in the park to do this, so you could join from wherever you are and then head straight to EPCOT.
I have absolutely loved helping you out with your question today, Danny. If there's anything else I could do for you,
you know where to find me! I'm always available and more than happy to help. Have a wondEARful day!
Your friend,
Ana Paula
