I'll be Magic Kingdom on the 18th a day the park will close early due to Mickey Merry Christmas and on the 20th staying for Mickey Merry Christmas. Are we missing the fireworks on the 18th? Should i instead do the 19th to have a full day

Hello Zoraya, and thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I love visiting the Walt Disney World Resort during the holiday season. The decorations are magnificent! You will definitely feel the holiday spirit while you are enjoying your magical vacation. My favorite nighttime entertainment at any Disney Theme Park is the fireworks. If you are like me, you don’t want to miss them either.

During the holiday season, the Magic Kingdom will only display Happily Ever After during nights that Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is not taking place. On December 18th  you will not be missing that pyrotechnic display because Holiday Wishes will be shown that night as well as the evening you are attending the party. If you want to catch one of my favorite fireworks spectaculars, Happily Ever After, you would need to visit the Magic Kingdom on December 19th. Keep in mind that outdoor entertainment is always subject to change. I would recommend consulting a “Times Guide” or speaking to a Cast Member to confirm any changes in showtimes. You will have a magical time no matter which option you choose. I hope that helps. If you have any more questions before you arrive, please come back and visit us again.

    Happy holidays,
