I'll be heading to Disneyland with my 80 year old parents. They get around pretty well, but my only concern is waiting for the parade/fireworks. Any tips on accommodations for reserved seating? They won't require handicap accommodations otherwise.

    Hello Cindy!

Thanks so much for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I hope you are having a magical week!

For the Paint the Night Parade, I’m a big fan of the Paint the Night Dining Packages to secure reserved/preferred seating. Having dinner planned out, as well as knowing I don’t have to rush for the parade really eases my stress when we visit. You can find all of the details on the Disneyland Resort website for this. The Paint the Night vouchers list the location of your viewing area, the time you should arrive at your viewing location and the show's performance time. It is mostly standing but there are some accommodations for disabilities if needed.

For the Fireworks over Sleeping Beauty’s Castle, I prefer the view them from a couple of lesser known locations. You get all of the show with much more room than on Main Street U.S.A. I like to watch them from near the entrance to it’s a small world or along the Rivers of America in Frontierland.

I hope this is helpful and please let me know if you need anything else!

    See you real soon!
