I'll go to the halloween party in Magic Kingdom in early September. Two questions: is the city hall area/train station a good spot to see the parade. And I read that photos with Jack skellington begin before 7pm, is this true?

    Boo to You, Betzabe!

Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is my very favorite event at Walt Disney World Resort! I love how Magic Kingdom Park transforms into a fun Halloween party atmosphere - with a Disney twist! With special Character Greetings, Boo-To-You Halloween Parade, and Happy Hallowishes Fireworks, it's truly an amazing experience. Don't miss the Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular - it's awesome!

While there are lots of great viewing spots for the Boo-To-You Halloween Parade, the City Hall/Main Street WDW Railroad Station area is an awesome place to see the parade. Guests will start claiming viewing spots early, so make sure to head over that way with plenty of time to spare before the parade steps off. I recently watched the Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade from directly in front of the Railroad Station and was able to get some fantastic photos of the gorgeous parade floats!

On party nights, one of the most popular photo ops is with Jack Skellington and Sally from Disney's The Nightmare Before Christmas. Lines form early for this one-of-a-kind experience with two rarely-seen Disney Characters. Last year, Jack and Sally were greeting Guests in the Storybook Circus area. My husband and I got in line around 5:30pm, hoping to see them as soon as the party started at 7pm. We were thrilled when Jack and Sally came out early for photos, but I can't quite remember if it was 6:00 or 6:30pm. By the time the party officially began at 7pm, most Guests had already made their way through the line and could move on to enjoy the rest of the party offerings. While I can't say for sure they will always appear early, it was great when it happened last year! Hopefully they will continue to do this to help with the long line.

I hope this helps with your planning!  - Diane W.
