I’ll go to Epcot on November 27 and would like to see Luminous. But I do have a reservation for Starlight Safari at 10:00 pm. Is it viable to do both?

Hey there Andressa, and welcome to planDisney!

When it comes to logistics and timing when heading between destinations around Walt Disney World Resort, I'm definitely all about helping folks chart courses and strategize the best ways to get where they need to be! I took a look at the Hours & Events Calendar for November 27, 2024 to help you get an idea of what you'll need to be prepared for in order to make this evening possible:

    • Luminous The Symphony of Us is currently scheduled to take place at 9:00 P.M. and has a runtime of approximately 17 minutes. If you wait to watch the show in its entirety, you'll need to be prepared for a large crowd of fellow guests surging to exit EPCOT at the same time, which may be especially busier during the very popular Thanksgiving week.
    • Personally, I've found that securing a spot on the Starlight Safari can often be challenging to obtain while watching fireworks at EPCOT is something easier to accomplish on a different night, so I wouldn't necessarily risk arriving late - especially if the policy states that the price of this experience is forfeited should you fail to cancel 24 hours in advance or show up in time. The best way that I could imagine a strategy that cuts it very close is watching Luminous The Symphony of Us from the area between the United Kingdom and France Pavilions and making a hasty getaway to the nearest exit at International Gateway during the final song. (You can see a listing of all the music with timestamps that I prepared for a fellow guest!)
I also recommend checking in directly with my planDisney Panelist pal Matt for more insight into his experience with the Starlight Safari this past week, for any more tips that he may be able to share with you!
