Hello there! I'll do my first travel to Disney in February!! I need help with the food. Which restaurants and snacks do you recommend for the first time in the parks? Thank you!

    Hi Martina,

One of the great things about Walt Disney World is the wide variety of dining experiences available. There is something for every palate! I am happy to share some of my favorite restaurants and snacks with you; however, do be sure that you check out the list of Walt Disney World dining locations. From this list you can sort in many ways - by location, by dining experience, and so on.

At Magic Kingdom, my current favorite restaurant is the Jungle Navigation Co. Ltd. Skipper Canteen. This restaurant features slightly exotic and definitely delicious fare served by Jungle Skippers! I also enjoy The Plaza Restaurant at Magic Kingdom for classic and casual fare including great sandwiches and salads. At Epcot, there are so many different dining possibilities! In the World Showcase, my family loves a meal at Chefs de France, which has a lovely French bistro feeling. In Future World, we will often stop at Sunshine Seasons in the Land Pavilion for a fresh quick-service meal. Some of the ingredients for Sunshine Seasons are grown in the greenhouses at the Land Pavilion!

50's Prime Time Cafe has become a go-to for my family at Disney's Hollywood Studios. This fun, traditional American food is served by a member of your "family" who will keep you laughing and in line throughout your meal. At Disney's Animal Kingdom, I am a big fan of the new restaurant Tiffins and the attached Nomad Lounge. You can enjoy the exploring theme in these locations with some great food.

As to snacks, my family loves the classics. Most days, a stop at a popcorn cart for popcorn or an ice cream cart for a frozen novelty is a must! At the ice cream carts, I love the frozen bananas that are covered in chocolate. These treats can be found throughout the Disney theme parks.

Remember, these are just my favorites. I encourage you to explore the many opportunities for dining at Walt Disney World, Martina!
