Hi. I'll be doing online check-in this week and I'm wondering if the resort (POP) puts some type of hold on a credit card for incidentals ? Trying to budget and need to know if I have to set aside a few hundred that will be tied up b/c of a hold. Do they?

Hello Laura and welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Your trip is so close- you must be getting very excited! I too am very budget conscience, so I can really understand your concern about credit card holds. I once checked into a hotel in Washington D.C. and a 300 dollar hold was put on my debit card... it was awful.  The good news is that in my experience the Walt Disney World Resort does not put any holds on your card when you check-in. The only time the Resort hotel will charge your card is if you incur charges that reach the preset Resort limit. Currently, at Disney's Pop Century Resort that limit is 500 dollars. In other words, your credit or debit card will not be charged until you either charge over 500 dollars utilizing your MagicBand or you reach the end of your stay.

I hope your time at the Walt Disney World Resort it magical!

    See ya real soon,
    Anne
