hi, i'll in disneyland in october and i want to know when you sell the tickets for Halloween evening? thank you

Bonjour valÄ€©rie! Thank you so much for stopping by planDisney with your question.

I am so excited for you! Halloweentime is, in my opinion, the very BEST time of year to visit the Disneyland Resort! I just love when the Happy Haunts are out to play! There's frightful fun (but not too scary!) at every turn across both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park from tasty treats to festive overlays on some favorite attractions. And who does not love seeing Mickey and Minnie and the residents of Cars Land in costume?! I have a daughter who was born just a few days before Halloween, and she has single handily turned us into pumpkin fanatics. The Disneyland fall festivities get her Mickey-shaped stamp of approval!

I think you are asking specifically about the Oogie Boogie Bash - a Disney Halloween Party! This evening event takes place on select nights in September and October at Disney California Adventure Park. While we do not have an exact date for when tickets will go on sale, it was just announced during the Halfway to Halloween celebration (yes, Disneylanders are very serious about Halloween!) that it is returning this fall! I checked in with a recent question answered by Kristin C, who is lucky enough to live so close to the parks that she pops over with her kids after school! She has been to the Oogie Boogie Bash many times and has some helpful pre-planning specifics to share in terms of what days the party typically falls on and what time your party ticket usually allows entry so you can get a jump start on the magic. With your ticket, you will be allowed to "mix in" with daytime guests a few hours ahead of the official start of the party. I highly recommend getting there at this time so you can get a few attractions under your belt and really focus on the party offerings. There will be so much to do from unique character greetings, special photo opportunities, party-only treats to try, and of course spooktastic overlays such as Guardians of the Galaxy - Monsters After Dark! If you have little Mouseketeers with you, you won't want to miss Mater's Graveyard JamBOOree!  Costumes are encouraged and bring your sweet tooth!

My crystal ball is a bit foggy, but if I were to guess, I would expect those tickets to go on sale soon, possibly in the next month. To be one of the first to hear about it, I would give both the @DISNEYLAND and @DISNEYPARKS Instagram accounts a follow, or keep your eyes peeled on the Disney Parks Blog! Since you are hoping to attend right around the big day itself, you'll want to grab those tickets as soon as you can! Halloween week typically sells out first!

valÄ€©rie, I hope this was helpful in your planning! As you get excited about your trip, I highly recommend watching (yes watching!), the latest episode of the planDisney Podcast! It's a Halfway to Halloween spectacular where you will get ALL the insider tips on how to celebrate the season!

    Boo to you!
