I'll be in Disney World on Thanksgiving Day. Any ideas for a good Thanksgiving dinner for a party of 9 adults? Also which park would be the best to visit on Thanksgiving.

Hi Kelly! Thanks so much for sharing all of your questions with the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Liberty Tree Tavern at Magic Kingdom Park is THE place to celebrate Thanksgiving Day! Each and every day, Liberty Tree Tavern celebrates American heritage in the heart of Liberty Square with a traditional family-style Thanksgiving Dinner. The meal is an all-you-care-to-enjoy Patriot's Platter featuring roasted turkey breast, pot roast, carved pork roast and scrumptious side dishes. Your Thanksgiving Dinner will not be complete without decadent desserts including Jonny Appleseed's Bread Pudding or, my favorite, the Ooey Gooey Toffee Cake with Caramel Sauce and Vanilla Ice Cream. Yummy!

Magic Kingdom is a great place to celebrate Thanksgiving Day! From Main Street, U.S.A to Frontierland to Liberty Square - there are so many great attractions that are not only great Disney classics but also celebrate our country's heritage such as The Hall of Presidents.

You will also want to make plans to attend the Flag Retreat in town square on Main Street, U.S.A. It's a moving event on any day so I can only imagine how poignant it will be on Thanksgiving Day. As the American flag is retired for the evening, Guests and Cast Members have the opportunity to come together in saying the Pledge of Allegiance. The Star Spangled Banner is played by The Main Street Philharmonic marching band and while the flag is being folded Guests are lead in a chorus of God Bless America. The Flag Retreat is also a tribute to veterans for their service to our great country!

It is such a magical and moving way to celebrate Thanksgiving Day! Enjoy!
