I'll be at Disney with my husband and 3 children. One of my kids has autism. Do you have people to accompany us through the park? An extra set of hands would be hugely helpful if I'm left alone with my autistic son and his little brother.

    Hi Alieza,

What a great help this would be for your family! While there are no extra hands to help, you can find ways to manage your time alone with your two sons.

First, head to Guest Services and ask for the Guest Assistance Card (GAC). This card will help you manage your wait times by allowing you shorter wait times in the queues. The cast members at each attraction can point you to an alternate entrance to an attraction which can substantially reduce your time in the lines.

Next, ask for help from cast members to find a quiet space for your son if he needs it. Depending on his age, you may be able to take him into a baby center especially if he is under 5. This is usually used for nursing moms but I see no reason not to take advantage of this as long as your son is still young. They are found at each of the parks. The cast members will also no other attractions which are great to tour alone with him and his brother.

Finally, ask the cast member for help if you need it. While they will not be able to hang out with you, they can offer lots of tips to make your day easier. They are amazing people.
