I'll be coming to WDW from Sept. 20- Sept. 27. What is the weather like at this time. I have an 11 yr old and a 2 yr old. I want to make sure I have the proper clothing for the weather.

    Hi Amanda!

How exciting that your trip is less than a month away!  The weather in central Florida in late September is quite warm, with average highs in the high 80s and lows in the 70s.  Passing afternoon showers are not uncommon, but don't worry, these are generally brief and followed by more sunshine!  As for what to pack, I recommend shorts and t-shirts (or other "summer attire"), comfy walking shoes for the parks and a light jacket or sweater for everyone in your family in case a restaurant or theater is chilly.  I also suggest bringing along ponchos or umbrellas for your family.  You can purchase these in the parks if you prefer.

    Have a wonderful trip!

P.S. A huge group of Disney World Moms Panelists will be at Disney for the Expedition Everest 5K Race during your trip!  Be sure to say hi if you see a bunch of "Moms" wearing matching pink shirts!
