    Hi. I'll be arriving in Orlando end of July. My 6 year old son and I are staying at the Art of Animation and have a reservation for the T-Rex dinner. Does this restaurant use the magicband charging privileges or Disney Gift Cards?

    Welcome to Disney Parks Moms Panel. What a nice restaurant, your boy is going to love and the food is really good. Every 15-20 minutes there is a meteor shower that makes the place come alive with explosions noises and rumbling! Try to seat in the ice cave because it changes colors every so often and it’s so cool. I’ve payed twice, very recently, with Disney Gift Cards at T-Rex. What I always do is to check, at the entrance of a restaurant, if they accept the method that I intend to pay. I remember a Cast Member checking my Disney Gift Card and saying to me that not all of them are acceptable. With MagicBands you can totally pay too. Seems to me that you will not have a problem at all.
