Hey there, Julie! Welcome to planDisney! I'm so happy that you've stopped by with your vacation planning question.
In just a couple of months, you'll be arriving at the tranquil, palm tree-lined
Disney's Old Key West Resort, ready to begin your magical springtime adventure! With the relaxed island vibe and being just steps from the fantastic
Sandcastle Pool and the fan-favorite
Olivia's Cafe, this is the PERFECT spring break setting. I am so excited for you! Every time I go to Walt Disney World Resort, a visit to
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort for a DOLE Whip at
Pineapple Lanai and my absolute favorite view of Cinderella Castle is a MUST. The fact that this is your first order of Disney business when you arrive just proves that you are someone after my own heart, and I am honored to answer your question!
Unfortunately, at this time, day Guests without Resort or dining reservations are unable to park at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. However, I do have a solution for you, my fellow DOLE Whip-loving friend! I'd suggest parking at the Transportation and Ticket Center (TTC) and taking the very short walk over to the Polynesian. As a Guest staying at a Disney Vacation Club Resort, parking is complimentary! Free parking, DOLE Whip AND watching
Disney Enchantment from the Polynesian's beach?! Now, THAT sounds like a magical start to the most memorable vacation!
Julie, since we seem to have similar Disney interests, while you're enjoying the island life at Old Key West, I suggest
renting bikes from Hank's Rent 'N Return and cruising the grounds of the beautiful Resort. This is one of my favorite Disney activities, and I hope that you love it, too!
Julie, I am wishing you the most pixie-dusted and DOLE Whip-filled upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation! Stop by any time with any of your vacation planning questions,
I hope to see ya real soon,
Mandy
