Thank you for returning to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Andrea! Your son will love
Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge and it’s opportunity to animal watch on the plaza as well as the 9-bead activity challenge where you will learn and have fun all vacation long!
You are correct that only Florida residents can use the local state
ticket option, and they will have to show their Florida IDs in order to pickup and use them. If one of them happens to have an Annual Pass, be sure to show it for merchandise and dining discounts as well as using the Annual Passholder line (I’d had up to six family members enter this line with me as the AP holder). As far as the dining plan goes, I find that my family can’t eat that much. Most of the meals (either Table or Quick Service) offer an entree, side and drink (or combo meal) and a dessert as well as a few snacks per day. Our family, who would rather graze than eat a large meal often splits combo meals and ask for free large cups of ice water and then choose park treats like Dole Whips and soft serves later in the afternoon. My family agrees that if we were to elect a
Dining Plan when the kids were older the flexibility of the Quick-Service dining plan is more our speed than the Deluxe Plan.
If I can help you plan out other
preschool activities for your family, please let me know. I’ve got tons of ideas for attractions, meals and more! Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo! ~ Lindsey P.
