II was recently diagnosed with celeiac and am also a lifelong vegetarian. What options are there for dining? Wiill I need ADR and table service meals for every meal of our trip, or are there quick service options that will work?

    Hi Gretchen!

I think you'll find that Walt Disney World is excellent in working with people with special diets.  I would suggest that you note your special diet in any Advance Dining Reservations that you make.  I'd also suggest emailing specialdiets@disneyworld.com as soon as possible!  They'll help you with your dining concerns.  Also, allears.net has a great area on gluten free dining (just click 'search' and type in gluten free dining on their site).

At Counter Service Restaurants, you'll need to let them know that you have a special diet, and the manager will be called over to review all safe options for you.  Disney does do a nice job of making vegetarian options available to diners, and many things can be made gluten-free just by substituting out one item for a gluten-free one.

    Have a magical vacation!
