Any ideas on how to surprise my girls with a Disney Trip in 3 weeks? They have begged for 2 years and have no clue!!!

    Hello Deonna!!!

Oh - I LOVE surprises!!!!!  Your girls are going to be SO excited!!!  My wife and I have done several things to surprise our kids over the past few years...

Two years ago we did not mention anything about our Disney vacation at all until the DAY WE LEFT!  When the kids woke up, we told them to put on their clothes because we had to run errands.  As we were driving to the airport, questions started flying from our oldest daughter asking what we were doing.  It was then my wife and I started screaming, "We are going to DISNEY WORLD!!!!"  That was SO much fun, and the kids still talk about this all of the time.

Last year we did a scavenger hunt for our kids.  The kids worked together to figure out clues.  Once the kids cracked the CODE to find another clue, they would find a colored card with a letter written on it.  Once they completed the scavenger hunt, they were asked to DECODE the colored cards.  They worked together to spell DISNEY WORLD!  (Well, they spelled DIS and then began screaming...)

The first suggestion is more dramatic, but it was REALLY HARD to keep our Disney World vacation a secret from our kids.  If your family likes building anticipation for a vacation, then surprising your kids on the day you leave is probably not the best idea.  While the scavenger hunt takes time and creativity to prepare,  it was SO worth it!!!  I would say that if you are wanting to surprise your girls, then you have some creativity in YOU!!!

I hope these ideas help!  If you have other questions, please let me know!

    Have a MAGICAL DAY!!!
