Any ideas when Soarin’ Around the World will return to Epcot? Hoping it returns by our Epcot day April 4th! Thanks!!

    Greetings Betsy!

Welcome to planDisney. I'll be your chief flight attendant, err..I mean panelist today. I will begin answering your question in a few minutes, but first, I'd like to acquaint you with some important details. Please make sure that your carry-on items are safely stowed in the under-seat compartment, fasten your seat belt, and oh ya, have a nice flight!

If you can't tell, I love Soarin'--in any version. We were very excited to enjoy the Soarin' Over California version on our visit last December, but alas, the California experience is almost ready for take-off and will be departing soon. It was recently announced that Tuesday, February 27, 2024, will be its last day, and beginning Wednesday, February 28, Soarin' Around the World will return. Great news for your upcoming visit!

Also beginning February 28th is one of my favorite festivals, the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival! There are delightful springtime dishes offered, special merchandise and experiences and my favorite--the topiary displays. There are even new ones this year, such as Miguel and Dante from Coco who will appear in the Mexico Pavilion or Groot over by Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind.

Have a fabulous time planning your Walt Disney World Resort vacation, Betsy. Please let us know if there is anything else we can answer for you. On behalf of our entire planDisney flight crew, thanks for Soarin' with us. Have a great stay in EPCOT, or wherever your final destination may take you.

    Magical Wishes,

    Lauren

I now have pre-teens who check wait times in the My Disney Experience App just for fun, so I look for any excuse to return "home" often and would love to help you plan a little extra Pixie Dust for your next magical adventure.
