Do you have any ideas on how to remember a passed love one while at Disney. My youngest DD had a twin sister we lost at birth. We typically honor her in some little way on their birthday. We will be a DW on their birthday this year, do you have a idea?

Hi Jennifer! You celebrate a very sweet tradition with your family. Because Disney is such a magical and happy place you can certainly use this time to celebrate a beautiful memory and the life of your family as it continues on.

I am sure your daughter will be having the time of her life celebrating with all her favorite characters.  Take a moment and have a picture taken with a special one and have them write in an autograph book "To ____, Love, Mickey (or whoever you choose). Your daughter will always know this was a special moment and picture just for her sister. It will not diminish on her own happy birthday and will allow her to feel like her sister is sharing in a special moment. On repeat visits to Walt Disney World you can return with the same book and add to it through the years Leave the page next to the autograph open and add the picture and date it.

The important thing is to keep your day upbeat and happy as that is what Walt Disney wanted for all his guests when experiencing the magic of the parks! What a wonderful time you will have!
