    Any ideas about if the Military discount will be extended for 2013-2014?

    Hi there Darla,

    Let me begin by saying "Thanks" to your family for your commitment to our country. I am excited to hear that you're considering a Disney World vacation in the future and I'm so glad you stopped by today with your question.

    The Disney Armed Forces Salute is currently being offered through the end of September 2013 and it is too early to tell whether the promotion will be renewed for dates falling after October 1, 2013 and on into 2014.  Disney usually makes this decision later in the year and you can expect an announcement sometime in the late Summer or early Fall if the Armed Forces Salute will continue.  Last year's renewal announcement came on August 8, 2012.

    If your travel plans will fall after October 1, 2013, your best bet will be to go ahead and book your reservation during your desired dates to lock in your preferred resort.  If a new Salute offer is announced, you will be able to modify your existing reservation to reflect the special military promotional rates!
