    Any idea when the remaining dates will be filled for the Candlelight Processional narrators? We’re looking at Friday, December 21st and we’d like to finalize our plans. Thank you!

    Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thank you for your question. Last year, my fellow Moms Panelists and I had the opportunity to see the Candlelight Processional narrated by Whoopi Goldberg. It was such a beautiful show and we were all moved by the story, Whoopi’s joyful narration and singing, and, of course, the gorgeous music. 

    I have fabulous news for you, Gina: four more narrators were just announced for the 2018 Candlelight Processional. For December 21, Auli’i Cravalho will be taking the stage to narrate the Christmas story, and I could not be more excited for you. I just adore the way Auli’i brought Moana to life, and I know her energy and talent will blend together with the incredible choir and orchestra to create something truly wonderful. 

    Gina, this Disney Parks Blog post provides a great overview of the narrator lineup, as well as a variety of merry and magical experiences coming to the Epcot International Festival of the Holidays. After the Candlelight Processional, I know I would be picking up some of those festive treats, searching for Chip ‘n Dale around the World Showcase, and then taking in the breathtaking holiday finale to IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth.
