How ya doin' Brooke and welcome to planDisney!
Starting the year off at the Walt Disney World Resort is the best idea I've ever heard. The cooler weather alone is enough to make me want to plan a trip myself! Now I love any opportunity to save a few dollars and the amount of time I spend eyeballing the
Special Offers, Deals and Discounts page proves it. I'm happy to share with you what I know to help with your budget.
In years past, I've noticed discounts for the beginning of the year being released in the final quarter of the prior year around October or November. I would definitely recommend keeping an eye on
Disney Parks Blog for updates since they're usually among the first to share the news. But between you and me, I wouldn't wait that long to get your vacation on the books. Go ahead and get started on locking in your trip by creating your
vacation package and paying a deposit. "But Taylor, what if a discount that applies to us pops up after I've already booked our trip?!" Don't worry, you'll still be eligible for it. You can add it yourself via your My Disney Experience account or
call and speak with a Cast Member who will be able to get things all settled.
Pro-tip: Since this is your first visit, be aware that in addition to your Theme Park Tickets, you'll also need to make
Theme Park Reservations via the Disney Park Pass System for each day that you plan on visiting a theme park. After all of your planning, we've got to make sure that y'all can get in!
Brooke, I hope I've been able to help you today. If you have any other questions, please feel free to
come back for another chat!Happy planning!
Taylor
